Astramar CLI download is open.

The optional astramar companion binary is now available for the terminal. It is separate from the Mac app and uses the same public beta window.

Companion channel. Prefer Homebrew when you can. A signed, notarized CLI DMG remains the fallback on Availability.

What the CLI is for

Astramar CLI gives terminal users a verified astramar binary for doctor checks, install guidance, and other command-line entry points that accompany the Mac product. It does not replace the native Astramar.app phrase palette.

Keep the Mac app for day-to-day phrase work. Use the CLI when you want a terminal-side install and health path.

How to install

  1. Preferred: brew install rtessno/astramar-tap/astramar
  2. Verify: astramar version && astramar doctor
  3. Without Homebrew: download the verified CLI DMG from Availability, copy astramar to ~/bin, then run astramar doctor.

Current public CLI package: Astramar-CLI-macOS.dmg, version 0.1.0-ppt (build 1). Exact status stays on Availability and What’s New.

What this does not open

Paid Pro stays closed. Team is not for sale. The Astramar.app Homebrew cask stays closed. Brand GA for Terminal UI is not claimed by this companion download.

Same beta window

This CLI cut follows the public Mac beta cohort that ends 18 November 2026, 00:00 UTC. Reinstalling the Mac app does not restart that shared window.
