Simple terms for a private beta product.

These Terms of Use govern Astramar by SeaSoup and this website. Last updated: 2026-08-09.

Beta software: Astramar is offered as a Free-tier Beta preview. Features, availability, and pricing may change. Public downloads stay closed until a signed, notarized build is published here.

Agreement

By using Astramar or this website, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the software or site.

License

SeaSoup grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Astramar on macOS devices you control, subject to these terms and any invite or channel limits that apply during private beta.

Your content and responsibility

You are responsible for the phrases, scripts, templates, and other content you store or run. You must have the right to use that content and to process any customer or company data you place in the library. Review scripts and exports before use.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Astramar or this site to violate law, infringe others’ rights, distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, abuse tip or purchase systems, or interfere with SeaSoup infrastructure. Do not reverse engineer except where applicable law allows.

Tips and purchases

Optional tips on Support development support SeaSoup’s work. Completing a tip does not unlock Pro, skins, or other features. Paid Pro, Marketplace purchases, and Mac App Store billing (when available) are separate and will follow the published channel terms for your install.

Team Preview

Team / shared-library capabilities remain Preview and are not for sale. Personal Astramar use does not require a Team account. Production Team terms will be published before any paid Team launch.

No warranty (beta)

Astramar and this website are provided “as is” during private beta, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. SeaSoup does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SeaSoup is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-data damages arising from use of Astramar or this site. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction is to stop using the software and uninstall it.

Third-party services

Optional AI providers, payment processors, Apple services, and other integrations you enable are governed by those parties’ terms. SeaSoup is not responsible for third-party processing of data you choose to send.

Changes and termination

SeaSoup may update these terms, the software, or beta access. Continued use after notice of material changes constitutes acceptance. SeaSoup may suspend or end beta access when needed to protect users or the service.
